By choosing Rag Mine you can rest assured your used clothing and textile donations will not only be hand sorted for quality before going to developing countries but will also help to support local small businesses and raise money for local charitable causes in the process.
Seattle Children’s Hospital Bargain Boutiques
The Rag Mine has partnered with Seattle Children’s Hospital since our inception. Since the summer of 2020 Rag Mine Clothing has supported the Puget Sound Bargain Boutiques with over $70,000 in purchases of their unsold and unwanted clothing donations.
Stanley Brown - Accra, Ghana
The Brown family owns and operates a pre-owned clothing shop Accra, Ghana. As our working relationship with stanley has grown he has become more than just a partner of The Rag Mine he has become a friend. Our direct contact and close relationship with buyer allows for orders to be customized and items added or removed on demand. Every bag of clothing sent to the Brown family in Ghana has been hand sorted at by The Rag Mine to ensure that all products are useable ine good shape and fit the warmer climate and desired item specifics provided by the buyer. This ensures that there is little to no waste and all garments sent by Stanley are able to be sold and reused again.
